What do employers ask before they call?
What is the difference between a temp agency and a staffing agency?
Mostly the name. A temp agency is a staffing agency that places workers on temporary assignments, and most staffing agencies also offer temp-to-hire and direct hire. RHO Hiring does all three for Michigan warehouses and plants. During a temporary assignment RHO is the employer and pays the worker, while your supervisors direct the work.
Is using a staffing agency worth it for a warehouse or plant?
For many floors, yes. The agency recruits, screens and employs the workers, runs their payroll and covers call-offs, so your supervisors can run production instead of hiring. RHO Hiring also prepares each worker for your site before day one, and temp-to-hire lets you see someone work before you add them to your payroll.
How long can a temporary worker stay on an assignment?
As long as you need them: a week of overflow, a whole busy season or an open-ended assignment. The worker stays on RHO's payroll the whole time. If you want to keep someone for good, your agreement with RHO sets when and on what terms a worker can move to your payroll.
